Suggest Remedies For Persistent Headaches Post Antibiotic Treatment For Diarrhea

Ever since getting antibiotic associated diarrhea back in March from Amoxicillin, I ve had a headache that won t go away. It s in the upper middle of my forehead - a little higher up than where a sinus headache is felt. Will this headache eventually go away once my gut bacteria replenish themselves from the diarrhea?

Hello,

You will need to make sure you use vials with normal bacteria flora. Also, you may benefit from eating plenty of yogurt. Make sure you take oral rehydration solutions to substitute both lost water and electrolytes.
Dehydration and electrolyte imbalances may cause the headache to be resistant to treatment.
Pain killers such as ibuprofen (after food) and paracetamol used regularly, every 6 hours, can help with the headache.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
