Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent burning rashes around the lips which is because of hyperpigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic reaction to certain chemical agents and could be because of melanin deposition due to excessive exposure to UV rays of sun.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash area with cold water and salicylic acid face wash and apply natural lip balm on lips to prevent from drying and don't apply with finger as that will cause infection and apply directly. Use tea tree oil dipped in cotton swab for fastening the healing and prevent discoloration. You will get relief in 1-2 weeks, if your condition keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and start treatment after proper prescription. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
