Suggest Remedies For Painful Intercourse

I am experiencing pain with sexual intercourse. It s uncomfortable in certain positions to the point I don t want to continue. I am having bleeding between my periods, not heavy, but I will spot for a couple of days (after my period has lasted about 4-5 days). My period is very irregular however and I have yet to have one this month. My last two periods were August 19th and July 16th. I had my tubes tied after the birth of my son in July of 2015. I often feel bloated and very swollen near my c-section scar. I have yet to schedule an appointment with my gyno because I avoid going to the doctor is possible. I would appreciate any suggestions, treatments, etc.

Hello,

There are certain things you can try.

1. Breathing exercise and yoga should be practiced. Breath in and out while penetration.
2. Counseling with a sexologist will help. First, insert a lubricated finger of the wife intop vagina and continue for a week.

Then repeat it with 2 lubricated fingers of a wife. When she is comfortable to repeat it with your husband's finger, first with 1 finger and repeat with 2 fingers. Each process should take at least 5 days gap.

3. When she is comfortable, after foreplay and apply lubricant and intercourse can be tried. During the process, proper relaxation is required.

4. Avoid stress. Don't be in a hurry.

The lubricants would be K-Y jelly, Vagisil Intimate Moisturizer, or Replens Vaginal Moisturizer or plain vaseline jelly.

If unsuccessful get a vaginal examination with your doctor to rule out any infection or problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
