Suggest Remedies For Pain And Tenderness On The Biceps

So about 30 hours ago my left bicep started hurting. It feels like it s in the top middle area. I was panicking and I went to pick up something heavy really fast and about 5-10 minutes later is when the pain started. I don t recall feeling anything unusual or any pain while I was lifting the object just afterwards. It feels like I have a muscle knot or I m sore but my right arm doesn t feel like that at all. I feel the pain mostly when I flex or lift something above my shoulder. I don t have pain anywhere else. I ve tried massaging it and stretching it but nothing seems to help. There isn t any lump or bruising or swelling. Would I have just maybe pulled something? Or is my bicep just sore?

Hello
While this might only be a pulled muscle, the knot could indicate a torn biceps tendon at your shoulder level. I suggest you have a doctor examine this since it might require surgical repair
