Suggest Remedies For Pain And Tenderness In The Elbow After Popping A Pimple

I had a small pimple on my elbow that I popped. Had somewhat of a brownish head. An hour or two later it swoll up to the point where I can t fully extend forearm or fully close. Now it is very painful in my elbow and hands and fingers. More of a shooting pain in my fingers than the tenderness in my elbow. Could this be a spider bite?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello

As per your history, pain may be due popping of that pimple. Kindly apply antiseptic lotion over it like neosporin powder. For pain you can take tab. tylenol. You may require antibiotics like tab. amoxicillin after consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
