Suggest Remedies For Nausea, Sore Throat And Fever
My roommate in college has a slight fever of 99.2 degrees F, she has a cough, runny nose, achy joints, chills, hot flashes, cold sweat, nausea, and sore throat. She did not have a flu shot this year. Should I get her to the doctor s tomorrow for a flu test?

The totality of her symptoms demands that she be seen for medical evaluation as soon as possible.
Although it is flu season in the USA, there are other infectious agents that cause similar symptoms, so the health care provider needs to examine her to rule out these other possibilities.
If she has asthma, diabetes, heart or kidney disease it might be a sound idea to get her flu shot after she recovers from the current illness.
