Suggest Remedies For Nasal Blockage

I am having nasal blockage , I am having breathing problem with my left nostril . doctor says it is growth of nasal bone. I am also having pain in my nose and also having headache since last two days. Can you tell me what actually it is and is it compulsory to get it operated..

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms of nasal blockage left side which could be due to nasal bone growth and it could be due to allergic rhinitis, nasal polyp and irritation of nasal lining.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order nasal swab test and blood tests to get complete examination done. Sometimes symptoms got resolved with non surgical means such as steroid nasal drops. Keep doing gargles and take nasal saline rinses. If symptoms keeps on persisting then you should go for surgery after complete examination.
