Suggest Remedies For Mild Fever And Throbbing Headache

My son is 16 years old and very healthy. He started a low grade fever last week between 100-100.6 and then sometimes normal. He complained of a throbbing headache and loss of appetite. We went to his doctor last week and she said let s see what happens into next week.....to see if symptoms would go away. Tonight his temperature has spiked to 102 and he feels like he can t eat and complains of a throbbing headache again. Just trying to figure out if I can wait till morning .

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to viral fever.

For that you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require complete hemogram, peripheral smear for malaria parasites, dengue NS 1 after physician consultation.

Keep your self hydrated. Take balanced diet.
