Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got this lump below the crease on the inside of my arm and it turns into another lump above the crease but it connects. Kind of weird I don t know if that matters or not but I m really scared about it.I got it from shooting up heroin. I don t think it s an abscess yet because it doesn t have a head and it s not red, just looks swollen it s a little darker then my skin but it also is warm when i touch it.My arm hurts it feels sore and it s hard to stretch out all the way. I can t go to my doctor about it because that will effect my suboxone script and I m trying to quit but I can t quit if I don t have suboxone. My insurance just expired but I m trying to clear that up on Monday. Please help me as soon as you can. My arm has been like this for a few days and I m scared what s gonna happen if I wait all weekend. I could really use some help and advice!! Thank you
All of the above diagnoses require a course of antibiotics for which you need a prescription (if you donot get antibiotics over the counter in you country). Surgical intervention is needed only if the antibiotics donot work.
Hope this helps.

Suggest Remedies For Lumps In The Arm Crease
Hello! It does seem like an abscess is about to form. Other possibilities are lymph node inflammation, hair follicle infection or possibly a tubercular infection if you live in a region with high prevalence of Tuberculosis. All of the above diagnoses require a course of antibiotics for which you need a prescription (if you donot get antibiotics over the counter in you country). Surgical intervention is needed only if the antibiotics donot work. Hope this helps. Regards, Dr Geeta
