Suggest Remedies For Inhalation Of Bleach

I accidentally dropped a bottle of clorox bleach bathroom cleaner at work and it splattered in my lips and top of my right eye. I wear glasses so it didn t get on my eye but when I did close my eye I felt like it got inside a bit. I rinsed right away both my eye and lips and reported at work and got send home early because now I feel nauseated, my right eye feels uncomfortable, like if its sore or something and I also have a headache as well. I know I did inhale enough clorox bleach and that s what caused my head to hurt and get light headed but I want to know if all this should I be worried? I don t want to go to the ER but I m scared maybe I inhale too much. Thank You

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No need to worry much for this incidence as you have done right thing by rinsing.
No need to visit ER if you are comfortable with mild nausea, chest tightness and mild eye pain.
All these will go away by its own in 1 day. Inhale fresh air and wash your eyes thoroughly.
If you develop any of the following symptoms then consult ER.
1. Breathlessness and severe chest tightness.
2. Fever with palpitation.
3. Worsening eye pain.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
