General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Since she has not noticed any relief from her previous treatment then she may want to consider traditional medication.

There are medications that can decrease the acid production in the stomach which would then allow the ulcer to heal.
They can take a few days ( 5 to 7) to take effect.

Examples are nexium, prilosec, prevacid, protonix , aciphex etc

They would have to be taken for a long period of time to allow the ulcer to heal.
Her doctor can prescribe one for her.

I hope this helps
