Suggest Remedies For Extreme Side Effects Post Intake Of Lisinopril

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and before that diagnosis my Dr put me on Lisinopril 10mg for high blood pressure. In the last 6 months I have had SOB, tightness in chest, can t sleep, tired all the time and weight gain because I can t breath to exercise. My Dr has ordered a chest X-ray, ekg, holder monitor, asthma and allergy clinic and to see a cardiologist. I have quit taking my Lisinopril since all symptoms I have are all side effects of the Lisinopril. What should I do ???

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to side effects of Lisinopril use.

I recommend consulting a cardiologist to take an alternative medication to treat the high blood pressure.

Meanwhile, I recommend measuring the blood pressure regularly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
