Hi,

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, at age of 48 the period's irregularities may be due to perimenopausal symptoms however endometriosis may have lead to early onset of symptoms. Hormonal profile may be helpful alongwith fresh ultrasound pelvis.

For other symptoms, OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be helpful. Anti spasmodic like drotavarine may also be needed. If not helpful, surgical intervention may be unavoidable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
