General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone which is produced in increasing amounts as pregnancy progresses.
As a pregnancy continues, the levels get higher and higher.

It is normally detectable by day 11 to 14 after conception by most test. If the test was done after this time then it is likely accurate and you are not pregnant at this time.

IF the test was done before 11 to 14 days, then it should be repeated to get an accurate picture.

If it is truly negative then it is likely the PCOS causing the delay.
I hope this helps
