Suggest Remedies For Cramps And Diarrhea Despite Taking Imodium And Buscopan After Diverticulitis

Hi I m worried about my Dad, he is just out of hospital diagnosed with diverticulitis. Still having really bad cramps and diarrhoea. He went to his gp who px immodium and buscopan with no effect. Is there anything else he could take? He is watching his diet.
