Suggest Remedies For Clustered Pimples On The Buttocks
I have small periodic outbreaks on my lower center back right above the butt. A also on the inside thigh. It is a small sore with white colored pus filled raised clustered bumps surrounded by a red itchy area. Not much pain but soreness. I had one spot yesterday and another one appeared at the same area today. It lasts a few days and then heals itself. But it left a red scar the last time. The pictures online don t match shingles, psoriasis, or warts although I have had genital warts in the past. What do you think it is.
Hi. As per your case history you are having multiple furuncles. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
