When sombody touch the harpick bathroor clener and without hand wash she wash the hand only the water and mouth clean . The side effect is that tung is burn little bit So advise me i am going to hospital for treatment or not ? This incident is three hour later
As per your burning sensation of tongue after contact with bathroom cleaner is due to chemical burning of the tongue with the toxic chemicals present in it..
In case if the cleaner has just touched the tongue in a small amount and not burning severely then you need not to worry as it will resolve soon.. You can simply take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and suck ice pops.. Apply numbing gel over the burning areas to relieve burning.. Avoid spicy food..
But in case if you have accidentally drank the cleaner you need to immediately consult an Emergency room..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr. Honey Nandwani Arora..
