Suggest Remedies For Brown Patches, Missed Periods And Weight Gain

Hello - my 17 year old daughter has symptoms that no one can assist with. Brown patch on the back of her neck, excessive weight gain, missed menstral cycles for months at a time and one breast is larger than the other. Should I see an pediatric endocrinologist?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, you can consider seeing an endocrinologist. At her age, she can see a pediatric or adult endocrinologist.

It is possible with the history of weight gain and irregular periods that she has polycystic ovarian syndrome but there are other hormonal conditions that would need to be considered as well.

I hope this helps
