Hello,

Unfortunately, the information you've provided is not enough to decide about your treatment. Diabetic patients have to measure their glucosylated hemoglobin every 3-6 months to see how their diabetes goes. The target values are below 7% for most patients. For some patients, higher values can be targeted depending on the rest of their medical history. If your glucosylated hemoglobin is 7% (or less) then your treatment is OK for you. Otherwise, changes will have to be made.

Regarding your limb pain, the vitamins are OK but they're not curative. In most cases, the pain gets better with time (and some painkillers). If it's due to a slipped disc then be warned that the pain may recur.

I couldn't prescribe or recommend any drug without the necessary laboratory and clinical information. You should consult your doctor for that!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Panagiotis Zografakis, Internal Medicine Specialist
