Suggest Opinion On Prominent Bronchovascular Markings Seen In Both Lungs

Chest X-ray report of my mother age 80 yrs showing as -Prominent Bronchovascular markings seen in both lungs. -Cardiac size is enlarged ,Bilateral CP angles are clear, Both hila, Both domes are clear . Mild upper dorsal scoliosis seen with convexity towards right side. plz suggest

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion no need to worry for prominent bronchovascular markings.
It is normal variant most of the times.
It is due to gravity dependent more blood flow in lower part of the lungs. Which makes it more visible, more prominent on chest x ray. So no need to worry for this.
Another thing I want to comment is on enlarged cardiac size. I advice you to get done ECG and 2D Echo to rule out any cardiac cause.
Age related changes can cause cardiac enlargement.
