Suggest Methods To Control Blood Sugar Level

I am 40 yrs of age.Last yr. my PP blodd sugar dignosed up 160 & fasting 110.I started taking care but till April2011,it did not come below160.Fasting was ok. Since april my stress level is reduced up to great extend.yestrday I check my sugar & it was 110 & 139 respectively.I am taking beets juice,is it because of that.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

First let me appreciate for your positive approach. The latest sugar levels you have mentioned are under control. Maintain that. Beets juice definitely very good for health. But we cannot specify one cause for reduction of sugar levels. It depends on lot of things like exercise, amount food taken. etc.,

Regarding diet follow these guidelines:
1. Eat three meals a day and snacks spaced in long spans.
2. Do not skip meals.
3. Eat your meals and planned snacks about the same time every day, just as you take your medication.
4. Eat a consistent amount of carbohydrates at each meal and snack, and distribute carbohydrates evenly throughout the day.
