Suggest Medicines For Weakness And Chilling Body Temperature Inspite Of Having Total Knee Replacement

I had TKR 7 weeks ago and only complaint is I don t have much energy and stay chilled...I just can t get warm. I am taking iron...haven t heard from blood work done several days ago. I did have two units of blood in hospital after TKR. Why am I having chills...: ? no infection in knee and walking well.

I am so sorry to hear about these chills. Chills could be suggestive of a hypothyroid state. However, you would need to get some basic tests like TSH to explore further about this. For now, try and put on think dresses and cover the extremities to keep your body at least warm while the possible cause of this extreme cold sensation is identified and managed accordingly.
