Pain after shingles is very common and it is due to nerve pain mostly. To get relieve from pain in the meanwhile you ca take ibuprofen tablet once a day or tylenol any one of them.
Also you can dip your hands uptil elbows in luke warm water for 5 to 10 mins twice a day.
Make sure that water is not too hot to give you burns .
Hope you are satisfied
