Suggest Medicine For H.T.N With Swelling Of Body
my mother's age is 55 year with 95kg weight. she is H.T.N patient. There is swelling on her whole body, which sometime reduces. I have a medical store in Pakistan.Please tell me which medicine she should use for this disease.
She has been used many diuretics,but can't relief.we shall be very thankful to you

Hypertension along with leg swelling may be due an associated heart disease/ kidney disease/lung disease/ drug induced( like amlodipine).
So I suggest for such patients to undergo a baseline work up before starting treatment to exclude other diseases and to assess the degree of disease and it's impact.self treatment is not advisable in this kind of patients
