Hello,

Urticaria can be a chronic condition in some patients, which means it may come back. It is a good thing desloratadine is working and you may need to use it long term. Also, you may need to do some skin tests to rule out an allergic reaction to a certain food or chemical as the trigger to this skin rash. If an allergic reaction towards a certain agent is identified, it is important that you do your best to avoid being in contact with that agent (food or chemical).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
