General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Your father is recovering from a stroke or cerebrovascular accident.

Consult a psychiatrist and get evaluated. He might require long term physiotherapy for best results.

Keep in mind that the recovery period is pretty long and residual weakness always will be there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
