Suggest Medications For Nose Bleeds

I have had 2 unexpected nose bleeds today. I was not busy , just sitting and blood started to flow. The second nosebleed lasted over 15 minutes before I got it under control. I did take an Aleve this morning. What might be the cause of the sudden nosebleeds? Thanks

Hello dear user, thanks for consulting Healthcaremagic and sharing your query, the most common cause of nosebleeds are allergies, living in a hot dry indoor climate ( specially forced hot air during the winter) Exposure to irritating chemicals, heavy alcohol use, anticoagulant treatments, trauma, and some diseases such as high blood pressure. I thought in your case is due to Aleve, that drug interfere with blood clotting.
Anyway I recommend you to check up your blood pressure, drink some vitamins supplements, keep hydrated and discontinued the Aleve.
if the nosebleed persist a doctor should be consulted
Please kindly rate if my advise has been helpful
Wishing you a good health
