Suggest Medications For Nausea With Vomiting In Children

My 12 year old had an episode of vomiting once two weeks ago on rising in the morning. I suspected stomach virus but no other vomiting after that time. She did complain of slight dizziness before the vomiting. One week later, she was in the shower and became very 'hot and felt as if she were going to pass out. She vomited and got better. Last night, she c/o nausea and a heaviness in the top of her head. I'm a RN. I can't figure out what's going on. No recent head trauma, no fever or other illnesses.

Hello,

These symptoms are indicative of underlying intestine infection. Must take him to the pediatrician, get basic lab tests done, and start treatment accordingly. Till that time primary relief with antiemetic with ondansetron and oral rehydration salt will help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
