Suggest Medications For Cramps In The Abdomen

Hi doctor, I m a 25 year old woman. 69kg, eat healthy and never wear (too) tight clothes. 2 days ago i have very heavy and painful cramps in my abdomen. Yesterday morning I had diarreah and yesterday evening i saw i had a few very small bruises right next to my left hipbone in front of my abdomen. Is this something i need to be worried about? I do have heavy and painful cramps more often..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
However your history of illness is not complete and very difficult to assess the diagnosis .
May be due to .
1 Amoebic colitis as you mentioned that there was abdominal cramps followed by loose motion .
Amoebic colitis is the most common cause of such symptoms . Get in stool examination for ova of amoeba .
2 As you mentioned that there is bruise with pain on the left side over abdominal wall ( perhaps ) , so this bruise type may be herpes . As I have noted in my many patient that there develops bruise like structure .
In your case physical examination by a physician will confirm .So consult a physician and get his opinion.
Good luck.
