You have been prescribed Omeprazole and Mintec peppermint capsules but of no help. I would advise you the following: Upper GI endoscopy and Barium swallow to find the reason why. Ultrasonography of the abdomen. Once the cause is found which can be due to hiatus hernia or reflux esophagitis, the treatment can be either medical management with motility regulators like Domperidone or Reglan and antacid. Change of lifestyle, not having instigating or enhancing factors for belching helps a lot. If the medical management fails, surgery may be the option to get a cure.
