Suggest Medication With Minimal Side Effects For Urinary Tract Infection
I am looking for a low cost med for a urinary tract infection... one that has the fewest side effects! I have had the problem some years ago but cannot remember what drug was prescribed... once was penicillin, then something else which helped with the burning immediately. YYYY@YYYY

Hello dear,
Following are the treatment of urinary tract infection:
1. Drink plenty of water as you can
2. Antibiotic- Tablet cefixime 400 mg twice daily for 3-4 days (very less side effect)
3. If itching is present during urination: Tablet Avil 4 mg Twice daily
4. If fever is present: Tablet paracetamol 500 mg three times a day
5. Maintain personal hygiene
