Suggest Medication With Dosage For Nasal Congestion In A Child
Have a little guy age 5 but only 30 lbs. He gets zertec 2.5 ml at hs but currently has LOTS Of nasal congestion. On a ventilator , lung sounds clear. Is it OK to give him the additional 2.5 ml as a prn doses. It s been 7 hrs since his hs dose. Never mind....didn t know there was a charge....

Zyrtec can help for the runny nose from allergies but does not help nasal congestion. You can try a nasal steroid such as Flonase instead.
