Suggest Medication To Cure Paroxysmal Atrial Tachycardia

I have paroxysmal atrial tachycardia for about 10 months, noticed mainly on going to bed. Been prescribed 25mg metoprolol twice a day. sometimes i dont take the morning dose because my pulse is below 60. Some days I am very light headed/fuzzy and breathless. Is it ok for me to not take the am dose.

Hi,

Metorpolol is a good drug and maybe you need to adjust the dose so you should work with your cardiologist regarding the same.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
