Hello dear
Understand your concern
Mifepristone plus misoprostol (95-98 percent effective) is safe, effective and successful medication to abort the intrauterine pregnancy of less than 63 days.
It is gynaecologist prescribed medicine and should be taken under the advice and supervision of gynaecologist.
Pre abortion invesitgation: pelvic examination, USG scan (check for intrauterine pregnancy), Hb %
Method to use:
Day 1: mifepristone 600 mg orally after meal
Day 3 (after 48 hour): misoprostol 400 ug should be put in the vagina by gynaecologist, if no induced bleeding then another 400 ug after 4 hour should be given. In some case double dose may be required if abortion proves will not start. Dose can be modified by gynaecologist.
Day 7: follow up visit for clinical examination.
Day 14: USG scan should be done to check complete process of abortion.

Abortion process will start with in 30-45 minutes after using last pill and process will complete in 4-6 days.
Do not use this pill at home as it cause serious complication like, excessive bleeding, abdominal cramp, risk of failure in which abnormal development of fetus occur which should be terminated by surgical process like D & C.
Post abortion advice: rest for 48 hour, healthy diet with iron supplements, proper pelvic hygiene, meftal spas.
Use safe sex practice in future like condoms and I pill to prevent unwanted pregnancy.
Hope this may help you
Best regards
