Suggest Medication For Vomiting And Diarrhea

Hi, just yesterday I ate a large bowl of soup and when I got home I proceeded to eat another bowl. A few hours later I started feeling a bit sick. I ended up waking up in the middle of the night to vomit along with diarrhea twice. What's wrong? P.S, my brother just recently got home from a trip and he also was vomiting.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain vomiting and diarrhea can occur due to causes like bacterial infection in stomach or food poisoning,parasitic infestation, electrolyte imbalance, food intolerance, allergies etc..

I would suggest you to start taking Fluid Replacement Therapy that is drinking plenty of oral rehydration salts by making a solution in water..
Take a soft diet and more of probiotics like Yoghurt,rice, cereals and banana..

You can also be advised to take anti diarrhea medication like Loperamide for diarrhea and ondensarton for vomiting..
In case if the symptoms does not improve or gets worsen consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood test can be diagnostic and treatment can be done accordingly..
