Suggest Medication For Throat Problem And Cough

i have had a cough for nearly two months. alot better this week but now i have the feeling of something being stuck in my thoat right behind my tounge and last night i developed a taste in my mouth of metal or something wierd and my mouth is really dry. nothing is helping.

Hi.
I would suggest the following in a patient who has primarily cough for 2 months with associated problems:::
X-ray Chest to know any reason in the chest
Complete blood picture , sugar and other relevant tests.
Sputum test for gram staining, culture and sensitivity and test for AFB ( TB).
ENT check-up to see for a cause

Treatment ::
Proper course of an antibiotic and to change as per the reports.

The feeling of something stuck in the throat is usually due to lymphoid hyperplasia which which will be seen on ENT Endoscopy, Cancer has to be ruled out.
