Suggest Medication For Swollen Reddish Boil On Buttocks
I have a boil on buttock cheek had it off am on for a month. Now it is very swollen reddish. Purple sore iratated the inside is soft but the outside is very hard I have taken antibiotics 2times I tried hot compresses ointments salves it won t come to a head do I need it lanced it is so uncomfortable because it right were I sit on my butt so it is sore
I am quite empathetic for the boil from last one month. It is rally bothersome ot find such kind of situation for long period of time which hampers our day to day life.
In my patients I generally prefer to do an antibiotic sensitivity test before starting antibiotic therapy.
An antibiotic sensitivity test would guide us in choosing the correct antibiotic. If the boil is large then it may require proper drainage so that the pus accumulation should not prevent the effect of antibiotic.
I suggest you to meet a surgeon to resole the issue at the earliest.
All the best.
