Hello,

I am quite empathetic for the boil from last one month. It is rally bothersome ot find such kind of situation for long period of time which hampers our day to day life.

In my patients I generally prefer to do an antibiotic sensitivity test before starting antibiotic therapy.

An antibiotic sensitivity test would guide us in choosing the correct antibiotic. If the boil is large then it may require proper drainage so that the pus accumulation should not prevent the effect of antibiotic.

I suggest you to meet a surgeon to resole the issue at the earliest.

All the best.
