Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been doing crossfit for 9 mths and I was doing pull ups and lost my grip and landed flat on my back. I didn t feel anything at that instant. I stretched out and modified my work out- that was Monday, I haven t done anything but try and ice and take ibuprofen. I stretch often but the mid low right side of my back is very sore? Should I go see a sports specialist?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to musculo-skeletal injury secondary to the fall. Symptomatic relief is obtained by analgesic preparations like Diclofenac+ Serratiopeptidase (to be taken after meals), ice compression, application of analgesic+ muscle relaxant gel & adequate rest.
If symptoms still persist, kindly consult a Sports specialist/ Orthopedician for proper clinical examination. X ray of the Lumbosacral spine will be helpful to rule out any fracture or other pathological causes.
Wishing you a Good Health. Take care.
