Suggest Medication For Severe Anxiety Disorder In A Person Recovering From Drug Addiction

Im in recovery from drug addiction and I have severe anxiety disorder. I need to fina a non narcotic medication that will help me calm down during an anxiety attach. My dr. prescribed hydroxyzine pam 50mg , and it literally knocks me out I can barely hold my eyes open. I have a 5 year old daughter and I cant be falling asleep durin g the day with her and such. please help
