Suggest Medication For Red Rash In Groin Area And Legs
Hi The rash starts as a very red nearly purple mark and the becomes pinky red to pink like inflammed and very itchy,worst places groin behind knees buttock and sacrum but has gone from pelvic area to all over, now red spots appearing on legs toes and breasts. Calamine cream doesn t make any difference

As per your query you have symptoms of red rash in groin area and legs which could be due to fungal infection of groin area and legs mainly known as tinea, as it localizes on body folds and thigh area. It could be due to bacterial infection, allergic reaction or nodular scabies. I would suggest you not to worry about it. You should avoid touching or pricking these area as it will exaggerate your condition. You should take oral tablets of Terbinafine for 1 week.You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Take tablet of cetirizine 10 mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching. Apply moderately potent topical steroid of triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream twice daily at affected sites.
