Suggest Medication For Recurring Rash All Over Body

Hey Doc so I ve been getting this random rash for the past month all over my body in little spots they only itch at night and lately the rash has spread to my penis I haven t changed anything I ve been doing but the rash continues to come I went to my doctor and she gave me a shot of Cortizone and a steroidal medication which worked for a couple of weeks but then the rash came back what could this possibly be

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring rash all over body, well this is very common problem and mainly due to allergic reaction, hormonal changes , stress, oily skin and excessive exposure to sun. Need not to worry. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin. I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Doctor may prescribe tretinoin ointment and antibiotic like clindamycin. Exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables also drink plenty of water.
