Suggest Medication For Pimple Scars On Face

Hello Sir,
I am using mela care cream before six months for acne scars. It shows a good result also but suddenly i got severe pimples on my cheeks also my skin became dark. My doctor suggest me Tufacne -20 and photostable sunscreen lotion. Is this the correct medicine pls suggest me. Also suggest me the medicine to remove pimple scars.

As per your complain Melacare cream contains hydroquinone+Tretinoin+Mometasone Furoate that is a steroid and long term use of steroid can although clear scars and pigmentation but has side effects like eruption of pimples and pigmentation of skin while other side effects like overgrowth of hairs on face, dilated veins under skin and skin thinning and inflammation can also occur...
Tufacne 20 contains Isotretinoin and it is effective in treating acne but first of all you should stop using Melacare and start washing your face with Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid containing facewash..
You can apply ointments containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide..
You can also apply Adapelene gel at night..You can do cool compresses over the pimples..
You can exfoliate your face with a gentle scrub..
Take multivitamin supplements.
Avoid excess sun exposure and apply sunscreen lotion when xposed to sun..
