Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and for osteoporosis we have following treatment available.
1. Teriparatide injection is a Paratharmone injection that can be given in very old patients.
2. Calcium and vitamin D3 is essential part of the bone. It should be taken daily.
3. Calcitonin nasal spray is also available . It is used for increasing calcium absorption through gut.
4. Daily half hour sun exposure is also useful.
I hope these steps will help you in tackling osteoporosis and spine pain, let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks.

Geriatrics Specialist Dr. Prakash H Muddegowda's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Your spine is compressed due to osteoporosis. Due to osteoporosis, your bones are extremely fragile and susceptible to fracture.
2. Trueosteo is helpful, however, it is difficult to get back to its original condition. You need to get your mineral density tested and based on it needs to be started with biphosphonates therapy.
3. You need to exercise your back along with biphosphonates therapy. Physiotherapy and lumbosacral support devices will be helpful.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. Dr. Naveen Kumar Sharma's  Response
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that you need to see a spine surgeon . You need a procedure called vertebroplasty. In this procedure cement is injected in the compress vertebral body under local anesthesia and it gives complete pain relief.
For osteoporosis you need to start following treatment.
1.Tablet Calcium and Vitamin D 3 daily.
2.Tablet Osteofos 35 mg once a week.
3. Teriparatide injection once daily for 3 months.
4. Increase calcium rich food intake like milk, egg, chicken , fish.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks
