Suggest Medication For Headache.
hi, my son was diagnosed with stomach flu. His doctor ordered Tamifu, Ampicillin and lomotil because he has chronic diarrhea since yesterday(he went 5 times this morning). I got him everything but only Tamifu cost me around $120.00. If my son does not have any fever, but he developed HA s this afternoon. Is this the best to include Tamiflu? Thank you. Vickie P/S: my son is 19 yrs old and he already had his first dose of Ampicillin 500mg+Lomotil. thank you.

Headaches could be related to the infection. Anyway, I don't think that tamiflu is really necessary. I would recommend trying ibuprofen or acetaminophen for the headaches. If the problem persists, some blood lab tests (complete blood count, kidney and liver function tests, PCR, sedimentation rate) would be needed.
