Suggest Medication For Headache And Nosebleed

I have had a headache for the last two days that Migraine Strength Excedrin has not been able to help. (I take this and Tramadol together and also rizatriptan for Migraines, but what I m feeling is NOT a migraine level of pain.) Just a few minutes ago I had a nosebleed which I have not had in decades. What could be wrong with me?

Dear Patient,

It sounds like you may have high Blood Pressure. I do not know about your age or family history of Hypertension or even if you already have hypertension and taking medications for it, but persistent headache with nosebleed does suggest hypertension.

I would advise you not to waste time and get your blood pressure checked with nearest physician.

Other possibilities may include allergic rhinitis and common cold that you can rule out by yourself.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you good health. Take care. Thank you choosing HealthCareMagic to help you.

Best Regards,
Dr. Viraj Shah
