Suggest Medication For Crippling Right Shoulder Pain

Hi I had a hysteroscopy, d&c and a mirena coil fitted just over a week ago, having a general anaesthetic. I am now suffering crippling right shoulder pain which is intermittent, but the pain is so severe I can hardly catch my breath and it is associated with palpitations, could this be related to the mirena please?

Hello,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic

Thank you for providing the brief history.

I don't think there is any connection of the hysterectomy and mirena coil. Your symptoms of the right shoulder pain can be due to pathology at the shoulder level or the cervical spine level. Having a proper clinical examination and if required an MRI of the neck will be good .
