General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query .
Read and understood your history about your daughter who is 3 years old.
Motion once in a week is definitely a big problem for such a small child.
I would advise you the following:
Take her to the hospital for Saline-soap enema to clear the bowel of the fecoliths she must have for such a long time.
Once all the bowel is cleared of the fecoliths it is possible that all the problem may just vanish.
Give her more fibers and diet , practically a full diet.
You may start giving her a mild laxative under the prescription of a Doctor and adjust the dosages as per her requirements.
It is also important to see if she has some anal problems like anal fissure or so.

I find this answer helpful
