Suggest Medication For Congestion And Runny Nose

My son is 15 months old and for the past 3 months or so he has had vomiting and congestion. We have watched what he was eating in correlation to when he would get sick and there doesn't seem to be a pattern. He's congested, constant runny nose with clear mucus sometimes it's yellow/green.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted your child having repeated congestion...

Here it could be repeated viral infection or allergic condition...
CBC done ...If lymphocytosis then possibly viral infection and if eosinophilia is there then it is allergic condition....

Symptomatic management done.
If needed benadryl like antihistaminic drug given...
Avoid exposure to allergen like dust, pollen and environmental pollution...

Respiratory examination done with auscultation to check rhonchi or creps to rule out secondary infection...

Take care.

Consult pediatrician with keeping these in mind....
