Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
hi,

as mentioned by you the brief history, what i understand is you have a chronic pain in the lower back. For this taking a medication will be symptomatic, and any medicine taken will have its own kinetics, so for which availability of the same drug in your region will be difficult to mention . Also, understanding that the surgery is done and the pain is still persisting, that means, the muscles of the spine are not able to have enough strength to stabilize the spine, which is the utmost need for the chronic pain. I have personally seen cases with such issues and we call it as failed back syndrome cases, these cases have responded well to physical therapy in our day to day practice. Undergoing the physical therapy session like - therapeutic ultrasound therapy, TENS therapy, Myofascial release and exercises will help look further. In my personal clinical practice this have worked out well and the patients have recovered drastically with a minimal dull ache which over a period of rehabilitation process has made it to zero on VAS pain scale.

I wish the same recovery from you and a long term pain relief.
