Suggest Medication For Chronic Numbness In The Leg

I was laid up with back pain 2 years ago when I also had numbness in my upper right leg. Whilst the back problem has eased I still have the numbness. I had an mri scan at the time which the specialist said he could see what was giving me the discomfort I think was L3 he referred me to someone else saying I could have an injection to numb the nerve. When I saw this person he felt because I was improving I should live with it and eventually it would probably go away. It s now 2 years and I don t think it s just going to go away. I was wondering what I should do now

Hi.

I feel your problem lies in your spine, and I could be wrong but please request for an MRI spine. Nerve entrapment is quite common and can easily result in the presentation you just explained to me. But what is good about finding the source is that, it makes treatment and relief a more available option.

Best wishes.
